South Africa added 73 runs in the first session, for the loss of two wickets, on the third morning in Nagpur.

Looking for a breakthrough in the later half of the morning session, Indian skipper Virat Kohli made some frequent bowling changes. However, Faf du Plessis and Hashim Amla added 47 runs for the undefeated fifth wicket partnership to take South Africa to 105-4 at Lunch on Day 3.
