Jermaine Blackwood then got among the runs once again and scored a fighting half-century to keep NZ at bay.

Blackwood eventually fell for 69 as West Indies slipped further.

Kyle Jamieson finished with 5-34 at the end of day's play reducing WI to 124/8, trailing New Zealand's 460 by 336.
