India vs Australia, One-off Women's Test, Day 2
India began Day 2 with Smriti Mandhana continuing in fine form.
India's star opener completed her third Test half-century early in the morning session.
Ash Gardner brought Australia back with two strikes. First she cleaned up Sneh Rana and then effected the run-out of Mandhana.
India rebuilt through debutant Richa Ghosh and Jemimah Rodrigues. The sweep shot was a highlight of the stand.
The Rodrigues-Ghosh stand added 113 for the fourth wicket.
A sudden collapse in the 2nd session set India back. Harmanpreet Kaur was dismissed for a two-ball duck.
Once again it was Ash Gardner who brought Australia back into the game. From 260/3 India slipped to 274/7
Deepti Sharma and Pooja Vastrakar once again put India on track.
The pair put on an unbeaten century stand for the eighth wicket as India finished the day with a lead of 157.
