IPL 2025, Match 1 - KKR vs RCB

Josh Hazlewood gave RCB an excellent start.

But Rahane came out all guns blazing to give KKR the advantage.

Rahane hit the first fifty of IPL 2025 and alongside Narine, put KKR on top at the halfway mark.

RCB fought hard in the second half of KKR's innings though.

Krunal Pandya's triple strike rattled KKR as they finished with only 174/8.

Phil Salt was very aggressive in the chase for RCB.

Salt and Virat Kohli pretty much put the game in the bed by smashing 80 in the powerplay.

Both Salt and Kohli eventually registered half-centuries.

Rajat Patidar contributed with an entertaining cameo as well.

RCB were ruthless as they won comfortably with 22 balls to spare.
