Another hefty swing from Carse, looks to go across the line and only manages a thick leading edge as the ball straightens a touch. Santner to Brydon Carse, FOUR, a bad misfield and Duffy has given some bonus runs to England - was drilled down to long-off and he had it covered, but he's slow to get down, the ball burst through his palms and rolls onto the ropes

Tickner to Jamie Overton, SIX, hammered, too short from Tickner - Overton picks the length early, swivels and then rockets a flat-batted pull, two men in the deep, but it's gone right through them and over the ropes

The nip-backer does the job and England slump further - was pitched up on a good length around off and then cuts back into the right-hander, Buttler was lured into an expansive drive, the feet hardly went anywhere and he's left a massive gap between bat and pad - the ball sneaks through and the off-stump is on the floor. The partnership has been broken and England are in dire straits now - on a good length and in that channel just outside off, Curran is playing from the crease as he pushes forward, doesn't cover the angle, gets a thick inside edge onto the thigh-pad and the balll falls back onto the off-stump. Oh dear, the ball pops out of Ravindra's hand as he's winding up for the throw and it goes into the boundary. Had chased it down all the way from mid-on only for the effort to go in vain

Foulkes to Brook, FOUR, the edge runs away to the boundary! Full and wide, Brook goes for the drive and it flies off the edge past the slip cordon. Third man is quite wide and isn't able to get to it

Jacob Duffy to Duckett, out Caught by Ravindra!! Right off the toe-end and gone! Another one down for England as their batting continues to crumble in this series. Not a great choice of shot this one. It's angling away wide of off and Duckett is going for the pull shot, looking to drag it against the angle. Foulkes to Root, out Lbw!! That looks dead with Root trapped right in front of off. Yep, he doesn't bother going for the review. An inswinger that also nips back sharply off the seam, around a good length or slightly fuller, he's caught in the crease and gets smashed on the back leg. Absolutely plumb. Should've been forward to it, would've got him outside the line of off at the very least. Root lbw b Foulkes 2(3)

Jacob Duffy to Duckett, SIX, whipped away in style! Length ball around middle, Duckett steps back in the crease, uses his wrists to great effect and swishes it over the square leg boundary

Foulkes to Jamie Smith, out Caught by Latham!! New Zealand review for caught behind! They are confident of an edge, although Smith is shaking his head while having a chat with his partner. There it is - the spike on UltraEdge - and the review has paid off. Again England lose one early. Width outside off, Smith wants to pounce but it jumps from a back of a length and causes his undoing.
