Just one month after Ishan Kishan smashed a double century in an ODI, Shubman Gill joined the illustrious list on Wednesday (January 18) by becoming only the fifth Indian batter to register 200 in the 50-over format. Gill, who scored a hundred in his previous ODI innings as well, managed to reach the landmark in the penultimate over of the innings against New Zealand in Hyderabad in the first ODI.
