Mohammed Shami officially completes move to LSG

Indian pacer Mohammed Shami, who was the second-most expensive acquisition for Sunrisers Hyderabad ahead of the IPL 2025 season at INR 10 crore, has been traded to Lucknow Super Giants, a move that was made official on Retention Deadline Day (November 15). He is one of the two Indian pacers acquired by LSG ahead of the upcoming player auctions, with the other being Mumbai Indians' Arjun Tendulkar.

As reported earlier, the mega swap between Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals was completed with Sanju Samson moving to CSK in return for Ravindra Jadeja and Sam Curran. As part of the trade agreement, Jadeja's league fee has been revised to INR 14 crore while Samson has been traded at his existing fee of INR 18 Crore

Royals have also acquired the South Africa keeper-bat Donovan Ferreira at a revised transfer fee of INR 1 Crore from Delhi Capitals, while Nitish Rana has been traded to Delhi Capitaks for INR 4.2 Crore.

As previously reported, Mayank Markande will return to his former franchise, the Mumbai Indians (MI), following a successful trade from Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)
