

Top batting performances
Ravichandran Smaran registered his second double hundred this year to power Karnataka to a sizable total against Chandigarh on Day 2. Resuming at 298/5, Karnataka finished with 547/8 declared thanks to Smaran's 227 not out and fifties from Shreyas Gopal and Shikhar Shetty. Chandigarh were 72/4 in reply, with Gopal bagging three wickets.
Siddhesh Lad's 170 and Akash Anand's 107 powered Mumbai to a commanding 630/5 declared against Puducherry. Starting the day at 317/3, Mumbai added more than 300 on Day 2, with Sarfaraz Khan and Shardul Thakur also contributing with fifties. Puducherry were 43/4 at Stumps, with skipper Thakur picking up three wickets.
Abhishek Reddy's century led Andhra's solid reply on Day 2 after Jharkhand finished with a total of 328. Reddy's unbeaten 103, along with fifties from Srikar Bharat and Shaik Rasheed, helped Andhra end the day at 224/2.
Amandeep Khare and Mayank Verma scored centuries to power Chhattisgarh to 585/6 declared after they started the day at 319/3. While Sanjeet Desai fell after adding only eight to his overnight tally of 76, Khare and Verma put on a big stand to deflate the Himachal Pradesh bowlers. After the declaration, Himchal were 37/1 at Stumps.
Rajasthan finished their first innings with four centurions as they posted a massive 570/7 declared against Delhi. After Sachin Yadav and Kunal Singh Rathore's centuries on Day 1, Mahipal Lomror and Kartik Sharma joined the list on Day 2 to put Rajasthan in a strong position. Delhi were 8/0 in reply.
Prerak Mankad's 155 and Sammar Gajjar's 116 powered Saurashtra to a commanding 585/7 declared against Goa. The visitors were 125/2 at Stumps, with Abhinav Tejrana scoring an unbeaten 75.
Anil Parida's hundred and three-wicket hauls from Sambit Baral, Rajesh Mohanty and Govinda Poddar helped Odisha gain the upper hand against Nagaland. Starting the day at 243/7, Odisha finished with 275 as Parida struck an unbeaten 118. In reply, Nagaland were bowled out for 161 despite Dega Nischal's 72. Odisha, however, suffered early setbacks in their second essay as they finished the day at 16/2, ahead by 130.
Mohammad Saif converted his overnight half-century into a substantial score of 158 while Bhargav Merai scored 160 as Railways ended Day 2 at 446/9 against Tripura, leading by 310 runs.
Guruswamy Ajitesh's 86 and helped Tamil Nadu finish with a strong total against Uttar Pradesh on Day 2. Resuming at 282/5, Ajitesh put on good stands with Baba Indrajith (149) and Sonu Yadav (44) as Tamil Nadu posted 455. Uttar Pradesh were 87/1 at Stumps with Abhishek Goswami on 54 not out.
Top bowling performances
Amit Shukla's eight-wicket haul put Services in a good position against Haryana. The hosts were 20/5 at the start of the day and were bowled out for 111 thanks to Shukla. Services went into Stumps at 122/4, leading by 216.
Three wickets apiece for Nachiket Bhute, Ganesh Bhosle and Parth Rekhade helped Vidarbha eke out a narrow three-run lead against Baroda. Starting the day at 70/2, Baroda were bowled out for 166, with Vishnu Solanki (59*) being the top scorer. Dhruv Shorey scored 61 in Vidarbha's second innings as the hosts ended the day at 126/3.
Despite a fighting 116 by Kunal Chandela, Gujarat picked up the first-innings lead against Uttarakhand thanks to a collective bowling performance, led by Siddharth Desai and Vishal Jayswal's three-wicket hauls. After declaring at 324/8, Gujarat bowled Uttarakhand out for 272 and were 5/0 at Stumps, leading by 57.
