Rinku Singh's fine knock of 176 - his highest first-class score - helped Uttar Pradesh take the first-innings lead against Tamil Nadu before the match ended in a draw. Starting the day at 339/6 in reply to Tamil Nadu's 455, Rinku batted well with the lower order, forging mini partnerships, even as Tamil Nadu picked up regular wickets. When Rinku became the ninth to depart, Uttar Pradesh had reached 443, in danger of conceding the first-innings lead. But the last wicket pair of Aaqib Khan and Kunal Tyagi helped them past Tamil Nadu's total before UP were bowled out for 460. Tamil Nadu finished with 103/2 in their second innings before the players shook hands.

Yash Dhull's 189 helped Delhi secure a draw against Rajasthan after they conceded the first-innings lead. Delhi, who were asked to follow on at the start of the day, reached 316/7 before the players shook hands for a draw. Ayush Doseja gave good support to Dhull with his 64. Delhi, at one point, were in trouble when Dhull fell in the 76th over after taking his team to 300. Sumit Mathur, who batted for 68 deliveries for his 19, along with Navdeep Saini (4* off 17), ensured a stalemate.

Sachin Baby and Baba Aparajith registered tons before Sreehari Nair bagged a four-wicket haul but Madhya Pradesh managed to draw the game against Kerala as they held onto the second position in the Group B table, which is topped by Karnataka. Having picked up the first-innings lead, Kerala began the day at 226/3 and saw both Baby and Aparajith reach three figures. They declared at 314/5, setting Madhya Pradesh a target of 404. The hosts slipped to 126/8 but an unbroken 31-run stand for the ninth wicket between Aryan Pandey and Kumar Kartikeya, who faced close to 20 overs, led them to the draw.

While he battled valiantly and reached a double hundred, wickets around him did not help Himachal, with Ravi Kiran making regular inroads, as they eventually finished with 425 in response to Chhattisgarh's first-innings total 585/6 declared. Chhattisgarh were 15/0 when the game ended in a draw.
