New Zealand had a tough time against Australia in that quick three-match ODI series while Bangladesh embark on an overseas tour after a gap of two years. Although the Black Caps would be a difficult side to beat when playing at home, they would be wary of a backlash from Bangladesh. Both the sides would know that there's little room to come back in a short series like this, making the first battle all the more important.
