Mahendra Singh Dhoni stunned one and all with a sudden decision to give up limited-overs captaincy on Wednesday (Janaury 4), less than two weeks short of the three-match One-Day International (ODI) series against England. As expected, Dhoni's decision sent his fans on twitter into a tizzy.

There was shock, and then some denial...

But some saw sense in Dhoni's timing too...

There was also the 'light-at-the-end-of-the-tunnel' optimism...
