Who'll they meet? Joburg Super Kings or Paarl Royals? Thats tomorrow's eliminator game and that'll be played at the Super Sport Park, Centurion. Do join us for all the action. For now, cheers and bye..
Bryce Parsons | Player of the Match - Really good. I needed that. It's been a tricky comp, being us. Haven't got the performances I wanted, but I mean, to do it on a day like today, I mean, means a lot. Just work hard in the nets. I've always been in and out of the team, so there's always a chance of playing, so it's always about staying ready. Luckily I got the opportunity today and we got over the line. I play a lot of cricket here at Kingsmead, so it's nice to come home and play or have a bat on a wicket that I'm quite accustomed to. So I knew it was going to be a bit slow, as it always is here at Kingsmead. I thought I knew what I was getting myself into. Dewald (Brevis) makes batting in a partnership quite easy. You know that the boundaries are around the corner. So it was almost just as little dot balls as possible and keep the scoreboard ticking. And we knew 8s, 9s and over was never going to be if we stayed in, it was going to be all right. An all-rounder. I'm always asking for the ball. I think this comp has proved my bowling's more than good enough to bowl. So an all-rounder, I'd say. I mean if Lungi didn't pull up, I'm not sure if I would have bowled, but I mean, that's the way cricket goes. And luckily I was able to contribute.
Keshav Maharaj | PC Captain - Very happy. I think I couldn't have asked for a more clinical performance, especially with the bat, the way they started off and how clinical we were to finish the game off on a pretty tricky wicket. I think it's about executing our basics really well. We started off a little bit slowly with the ball and then found our way through the middle. And in the back end, we bowled really well. Bryce had one of those phenomenal days. And you know, what we were asking for from a batting perspective at the start, he showed that today. And then Brevis, we know what he's capable of if he bats 40 to 50 balls. I was always thinking about bringing Bryce on. Sherfane did an amazing job from the other end to sort of cater for that. When I saw Bryce in his rhythm in his first over, he was a bit upset with me at one stage, but, you know, all for the name of the game. But kudos to him. What a special performance. We spoke about someone standing up and making it a day. And he did it in both facets of the game. He looks okay (on Lungi Ngidi). It was more precaution that he went off the field and I wasn't going to take the risk. He's one of our leading bowlers within our attack. I'd rather get the rest and try and manage the way through in the game. That's very exciting. I think the clarity that they were given and the information has been really good towards them. Like I said, we always knew what these guys are capable of. And it's nice to see it come to fruition in a crucial match and a crucial stage in the competition for us.
Tristan Stubbs | SEC Captain: Started well with the bat and then lost momentum. Bryce and Brev batted beautifully out there. We lost momentum in that batting innings, losing quite a few wickets. We gave it a good shot out there. It's a ground where you can take the game away from the opposition. I think they just batted well. Everything we did to try and take a wicket, they had a counter to that. Don't think I need to say much. We'll be up on Friday to try and take that game on.
21:07 Local Time, 19:07 GMT, 00:37 IST: Dewald Brevis was the costliest buy in this season's auctions and he delivered when it mattered the most. His half-century in the final league match took them from the brink of 7 for 5 to a QF1 place and he's now clobbered a 38-ball 75* to take them directly into the finals. But tonight's game was all about Bryce Parsons - asked to bowl with the Sunrisers coasting along, he dragged the Capitals back with three superb overs in the death - it not only cost him only 10 runs, he also chipped in with a wicket each in  each of his overs. What looked like a 200+ target was brought down to 170, despite James Coles's 4-ball 17 in the final over. He then kicked on with the bat and contributed a steady 44-ball 60 - a partnership with Connor Esterhuizen gave them a platform and then the partnership with Brevis took them on the cusp of victory. Momentum is a keyword in T20s and the Capitals have gained exactly that in the second half of the tournament. They'll now wait on their opponents ahead of Sunday's finals - will it be the Sunrisers once again? They might've let slip the chance of direct qualification, but not everything is lost for the 2-time champions. They've never missed the final since the start of SA20 and they'll get another chance as they play either the Royals from Paarl or the Super Kings of Joburg in QF 2 at the Bull-ring on Friday.

Nortje to Bryce Parsons, out Bowled!! A twist in the tale? Bryce Parsons shuffles too far across and loses his leg-stump in the process - Nortje kept with his wit, kept it full and straight, Parsons moves right across and then hears the sound of timber - walks off to a big round of applause from the team dug-out. He'd have loved to finish it off, but has he opened up a small window for the Sunrisers? Bryce Parsons b Nortje 60(44) [4s-4 6s-2]
Nortje to Bryce Parsons, THATS OUT!! Bowled!!
