Knew he had his man and just took off on the run with one arm up as if he had knocked over the stumps. In reality, the ump had no choice but to raise the finger because that was definiely smashing the stumps. Good setup from Jofra Archer. Went yorker, then shortish ball, then back to the yorker at 142kph. Weatherald couldn't handle the incoming angle from round the wicket, couldn't get his bat in time as well. Ball-tracking says that's hitting nothing but the base of middle stump. Weatherald planted his front foot across the line a wee bit and had nowhere to hide. Couldn't remove the leg or bring the bat down. Ball hit him flush on the boot and he was hopping in pain immediately. Impact in line with middle and off. Before the start of the session Jofra was just sitting and staring long. Maybe he was visualizing his bowling and how he would take those wickets.
