Jacob Duffy to Anderson Phillip, out Lbw!! Excellent review! Latham had a word with Hay and Duffy. The latter said, "I could see off-stump". He was right and the skipper got it spot on. The nightwatchman does not last long. Phillip goes for a 3-ball duck. The way he played the last ball suggested this was on the cards. Phillip was reluctant to come forward, stayed rooted to the crease and tried to defend a full delivery, the ball straightens to beat the outside edge and hits him on the back pad. The impact was the only thing that could have saved Phillip but ball-tracking showed it to be in-line and hitting the off-stump. Duffy is pumped and New Zealand have their tails up now. Michael Rae to Anderson Phillip, no run, 129.8ks short of length delivery, just outside off and Phillip keeps his bat close to his body and lets it pass. The ball carries nicely to Mitchell Hay. Definite spring in Rae's steps..
