Anderson to Vijay, no run, what has happened there? Anderson is appealing for obstructing the field. Vijay doesn't know what the fuss is all about, just smiles and wonders what is going on out there. This is what happened: Vijay defended it back down the track and Anderson collected the ball, before shying at the stumps. Vijay didn't move an inch, just stood there and allowed the ball to hit his leg. England and Anderson reckon that Vijay was out of his crease when the ball hit him, but replays show that the back foot was inside. The umpires have a chat and once Vijay was confirmed to be inside the crease, they move on. Good thing that Vijay didn't move, if he had done so, he would've been in trouble. A weird moment, but obstructing the field is a form of dismissal as well. Well, well - I may have got that slightly wrong; benefit of replays you see, it shows that Vijay had nothing behind the line when the ball struck him. England had every right to go for the appeal and don't know what the umpires conveyed to the English players eventually. The over was called and the game went on. Also have to mention my colleague - Raju - who was sharp enough to point out that Vijay hadn't got his foot behind the line
