Born on January 12, 1986, the 25-year-old Bascombe, an aggressive Vincentian opener, who has played for the Windward Islands, Combined Colleges and Campuses and has represented the West Indies 'A' Team as well.

Bascombe has showed signs of tearing apart the bowlers in the T20 format of the game. He was a part of the weakened West Indies squad for the 2-T20 tour of England but failed to create any sort of impression.

He managed just 3 runs in his debut T20I, which sadly remains the lone international match he has played thus far.
