INDIA WOMEN VS AUSTRALIA WOMEN - 1st ODI
INDW Inngs
Kim Garth to Radha Yadav, out Caught by Perry!! Straight to long-on. A leg-cutter and full on middle, Radha Yadav gets forward to loft and she picks out Perry. She needed a bit more elevation for that to go all the way. Good little cameo from Radha. Radha Yadav c Perry b Kim Garth 19(14) [4s-3]
Schutt to Richa Ghosh, out Caught by Gardner!! Richa Ghosh has holed out to deep mid-wicket off a juicy low full-toss. She will be disappointed with that. She gets low and heaves, it's high and Gardner near the cushions at deep mid-wicket judges it well and takes it. Such a safe catch and that's a big wicket at this stage as Richa could have wreaked havoc at the death. Australia pulling things back nicely. Richa Ghosh c Gardner b Schutt 25(20) [4s-2 6s-1]
McGrath to Rodrigues, out Caught by Alana King!! A wry smile from McGrath as she gets Rodrigues. She is relieved. It's a slower-ball off-cutter down leg, short and following Rodrigues there, she pulls and it's a simple top-edge that goes to short fine. Richa Ghosh pats Rodrigues on the head as the latter walks off. An expensive over ends with a wicket. Rodrigues c Alana King b McGrath 18(26) [4s-1]
Schutt to Harleen Deol, out Stumped!! End of Harleen Deol. She was looking to up the rate and she falls in the process. Length just outside off, keeps a bit low, Deol comes down the track to swing to leg, misses, superb take by Healy standing up and she does the rest. Good innings from Deol but Schutt breaks the stand. Harleen Deol st Healy b Schutt 54(57) [4s-4 6s-2]
Sutherland to Kaur, out Lbw!! Three reds and Kaur wastes a review. The slower-ball off-cutter on a good length and it cuts back in slightly, Kaur gets forward to defend and misses, hit on the back leg in front of middle and the ball would have hit leg-stump flush. Kaur had a chat with Harleen Deol and went for the review. But that looked plumb and rightly umpire Lauren Agenbag had the finger up quickly. Two wickets in a short span of time for Australia. Kaur lbw b Sutherland 11(9) [6s-1]
Alana King to Pratika Rawal, out Caught by Perry!! The slogsweep and Pratika Rawal finds deep mid-wicket. Perry won't mis those. She moves to her left and takes it. It's nicely tossed up full on middle, Rawal gets low to slogsweep and hits it well but doesn't have the elevation to clear Perry who runs around to her left and takes it. King roars in delight. Pratika Rawal c Perry b Alana King 64(96) [4s-6]
Sutherland to Mandhana, out Mandhana Run Out!! Gone! Brilliant work by Litchfield. Smriti not happy with Pratika. The partnership is broken and Australia are delighted. Fullish delivery outside off, Smriti drives towards extra cover and sets off, but Pratika was hesistant - takes a start and then aborts from the single, Smriti is stranded halfway down and she tries to get back in, Litchfield does not only make a diving stop but also scores a direct-hit at the striker's end. Smriti was not even in the frame. That would have been a tight single even if Pratika had responded. Mandhana run out (Phoebe Litchfield) 58(63) [4s-6 6s-2]

Sneh Rana to Phoebe Litchfield, out Caught by (sub)Arundhati Reddy!! Finally India have held onto a catch. Plenty of butter fingers today and Arundati almost made a hash, but she somehow manages to hang on. Litchfield's most productive shot today - the reverse sweep - brings about her downfall. She gets a massive top-edge and the ball goes straight up, Arundati comes in from short third and takes it low to the ground. A knock that had a couple of reprieves comes to an end. Phoebe Litchfield c (sub)Arundhati Reddy b Sneh Rana 88(80) [4s-14]
Kranti Goud to Healy, out Bowled!! Dragged back on. Kranti Goud is relieved more than anything else. On a length outside off, Healy gets forward to drive, but it's an angled bat and that's why the thick inside-edge goes back on to the stumps. Healy was looking good but departs without going on to make it big. Healy b Kranti Goud 27(23) [4s-5]
