It was ABD show all the way as the former skipper hammered his career-best 176 off just 104 balls to bat Bangladesh out of the contest.
Playing his first international knock since June, AB de Villiers brought up his century in just 68 balls.
De Villiers' career-best 176 included 15 boundaries and seven hits into the stands.
The 93-run stand between Mushfiqur Rahim and Imrul Kayes briefly gave Bangladesh hope.
Imrul Kayes top scored in Bangladesh's chase with 68 off 77 deliveries.
Andile Phehlukwayo was the pick of the bowlers, finishing with career-best figures of 4 for 40 in South Africa's 104-run win.
Mahmudullah became Phehlukwayo's fourth and final victim on the day, after contributing 35 to the chase.
Dwaine Pretorius returned figures of 2 for 48 in his 10-over quota.
The 104-run win helped South Africa seal the series 2-0.
