South Africa have won the toss and have opted to bat
Tom Latham picked up a thumb injury in the previous game while batting. He's not available and is set to be replaced by debutant Katene Clark who was handed his maiden cap a little while earlier. Latham was also supposed to lead the team in these final two T20Is. But now that role will be taken over by Jimmy Neesham.
6.30pm local: Hello and welcome to our coverage of the fourth T20I of this five-match series. New Zealand are leading 2-1 after consecutive wins in the previous two matches. They've bounced back strongly after the opening defeat at the Bay Oval with their bowlers leading the way. This series has generally been a low-scoring one and the pitches have played a role in that. Still, South Africa will be disappointed with how they've gone about with the bat and will want to put on a much improved show at Wellington today.
