India needed a wicket very badly. A teaser of a delivery from Jadeja, gets the ball to spin away outside off from a good length and Pope played that with hard hands. Looked to drive into the off-side and got a big deflection off the outside edge to the right of the keeper. Jurel shows sharp relfexes to claim an excellent catch. It's the delivery that hooped in the corridor of uncertainty, Crawley had nowhere to hide but to play a tentative poke. Brushes the glove and flies straight into the mitts of Pant behind the stumps. Gill at gully put in a full length dive to his right and only managed to palm it down to the ground. Could have been slightly easier if he had gone with both hands, but not to be! It was a tough chance and Gill has his hands on his head soon after letting that down

Nitish Reddy to Duckett, out Caught by Pant!! Nitish Reddy provides the much-needed breakthrough. It was a friendly short ball down the leg-side. Duckett sensed an opportunity to hit another boundary and tried to play a help-me pull. Not enough pace on it and he gloves it to the right of the keeper. Huge appeal and umpire Paul Reiffel had his finger up straightaway. Nitish Reddy may have dreamed about picking his first Test wicket in England, but he surely wouldn't have thought about the strangle down leg. India are not complaining though.
