Gets it right off the middle and it races away through cover. No chance for the fielder at deep point

He seems to suggest that he didn't pick it initially, but no mistake in the end. Fourth wicket of the innings for the England captain who's putting in a big shift again. Stokes to Thakur, out Caught by Duckett!! Edged and taken! That's a fine catch by Duckett at gully. This was an outswinger pitched up by the bowler outside off, Thakur goes for a drive away from his body and the outside edge flies straight to gully. Duckett dives to his left and plucks it out of thin air. End of a pivotal knock by Thakur. He's walking back to the pavilion, but he slows down near the boundary. Look who is coming out to bat! Jofra hasn't been express this morning but he's been venomous at 135kph as well. Jadeja was never comfortable with the ball moving away, almost edged it to gully first ball of the over. Now edges it to Brook. Pokes at this away-swinger, gets a healthy edge and he walks off. Big dent for India as Jadeja was key. He has been batting well in England. The ball flies down to fine leg and the fielder charges in from the deep, keeps his cool and completes a safe catch. Sai Sudharsan swings his bat in frustration as he walks back to the pavilion. Was looking good in this innings, but it's Stokes who removes Sai Sudharsan yet again. India in a spot of bother as they have lost half their side. Stokes to Jadeja, FOUR, edged away! On the shorter side outside off, Jadeja plays it awkwardly and the outside edge flies through the slip cordon and gully. He played it with soft hands, hence it went along the floor

Root to Sai Sudharsan, FOUR, maiden Test fifty for Sai Sudharsan! Tossed up delivery outside off, Sai Sudharsan drills it through covers to notch up his half-century in style. Has done a good job so far, needs to carry on and convert this start into a big score if at all he wants to cement his place in this Indian Test side

Woakes to Pant, no run, Pant attempts a premeditated reverse sweep and is hit flush on the boot. Big appeal for LBW. Not out is the call and England have gone for the review. Meanwhile, Pant is in a lot of pain after getting hit. It was a very audacious shot, and he has just about survived thanks to an under-edge, as confirmed by technology. Might've been the slower ball from Woakes which landed right in the blockhole. Not sure if it would've missed off stump with the angle too

Dawson to Pant, FOUR, miscued in the air, and Stokes hasn't spotted it at all! He barely moves at mid-off as it goes past him. Was a matter of time before Pant took the attack to Dawson. Stokes to Gill, out Lbw!! Proper error in judgement from the Indian captain. He left a ball that was heading straight to the off stump. Stokes and his cunning angles again! He does get the ball to angle in a fair bit, the ball maybe nipped back in as well. Gill felt it wasn't close enough to the stumps. But the reality was different. The moment it brushed the kneeroll on the front pad you knew he was a sitting duck there. Stokes knew he got his counterpart. Went super loud and confident in his appeal. Rod Tucker took an extra second to process the line and height before raising the finger. Stokes lets out a lion's roar when he got the verdict in his favour. Full and down leg, nothing ball but Sai tickles it and Smith moved too much to the right. So much so that the ball hit the end of the palm. Did it wobble away late though? Dawson to Gill, FOUR, in the airrrr, just over the diving Stokes at mid-on. He almost did a Phehlukwayo grab, 2019 World Cup! Flighted delivery, Gill advances for the loft, didn't catch the middle of the bat. Stokes had to back track a bit, dived and tried to grab it one-handed beyond him but the ball escaped

Dawson to Sai Sudharsan, FOUR, there is a bit of rough outside the LHB's outside off and Dawson is trying to target that zone, but Sai doesn't bother one bit and plays a brilliant cover drive. Took a nice forward stride and belted that ball in the gap

Dawson to Jaiswal, out Caught by Brook!! And he's edged the left-arm spinner to first slip. Dawson's playing a Test after 8 years, found the edge in his previous over and now he gets his man. Jaiswal was only looking to defend, but this one had some drift and probably did him in there. The batter played for turn but it went on with the arm, which meant he played inside the line. A healthy outside edge went straight to the waiting hands of Harry Brook. Dawson runs off in his celebration.
