Akash Sumra to Sunil Sam, out Lbw!! That's been given. Slower leg-cutter, Sunil hacks across the line while being rooted to the crease and misses. It looked out. But on replays, it seems that the ball might have done enough to miss off. Sunil Sam lbw b Akash Sumra 15(14) [4s-1]

Athisayaraj Davidson to Sunil Sam, FOUR, short and wide, flayed away over backward point for four. It takes KK to 100
16
Kaushik Gandhi to Sunil Sam, 1 run, miscues the pull in front of long-on, the fielder runs in, and puts it down. He was on the run and couldn't balance himself for the catch

W
Kaushik Gandhi to Shajahan, out Caught by V Lakshman!! That's the end of Shajahan. He's aimed for a big leg-side hoick, but the ball turns and takes a thick leading edge to long-off. Massive props to Gandhi for having the courage to still look to turn the ball. That might have been KK's final hope of getting to a fighting score. Shajahan c V Lakshman b Kaushik Gandhi 43(29) [4s-2 6s-4]

Washington Sundar to Shajahan, SIX, another six for Shajahan. He keeps fighting. Down the track in a flash, lofts it over long-on. He trusted himself there despite Sundar pulling the length back

4
Washington Sundar to Shajahan, byes, FOUR, that's snuck through bat and pad and gone over the top of the stumps for four. It slid on with the arm, defeated both batsman and keeper

A Srinivas to Shajahan, SIX, Shajahan keeps going. And he has to. Gets down low and demonstrates his power-hitting yet again as he clubs the slog-sweep over the ropes
13.4
W
A Srinivas to Rajkumar, out Caught&Bowled!! Chipped straight back to the bowler. Second wicket in the over for Srinivas, and a first-ball duck for Rajkumar. Again, lovely flight and dip. Rajkumar isn't able to get to the pitch as he tries to drive and has no control over it. Rajkumar c and b A Srinivas 0(1)

W
A Srinivas to Swaminathan, out Caught&Bowled!! The partnership comes to an end, and KK have lost their sixth. Flighted ball around off, dips on Swaminathan and he can't get on top of his sweep. The top-edge lobs straight back up, and the bowler calls for it, and takes it. Swaminathan c and b A Srinivas 15(24) [4s-1]

A Srinivas to Swaminathan, FOUR, shapes to cut a ball which isn't all that short, it flies away off the edge through the vacant slip region. Lucky

6
Akash Sumra to Shajahan, SIX, he has deposited Sumra into the long-on rafters. Geez, this lad can strike the ball. Races down the track and swings through the line. The ominous thing is that he didn't even look to hit it very hard
9.3
4
A Srinivas to Shajahan, FOUR, now this is clever batting. Knew the ball was going to be flatter, quicker. Sits back in the crease, uses the pace and runs it down to the third man boundary
9.2
6
A Srinivas to Shajahan, SIX, down on one knee and bang! That's huge. Srinivas tries to drift it outside his swinging arc, but Shajahan still launches him into orbit over long-on

4
Athisayaraj Davidson to Shajahan, FOUR, that's a clean strike down the ground. Pitched up at the stumps, Shajahan gets his front leg out of the way and punches it back over the bowler's head

Athisayaraj Davidson to Shajahan, out Ganapathy Run Out!! Five down. KK are in all sorts of trouble. This was the last thing they needed. Mindless running from Ganapathy. He comes hurtling down for a single when there wasn't one available. Actually, it might have been Shajahan's fault too as he took a couple of steps down initially to sucker his partner in. Davidson rushes to the ball, turns around, and fires down the stumps. Disaster for KK. Ganapathy run out (Athisayaraj Davidson) 2(6)

W
Athisayaraj Davidson to Rajhamany Srinivasan, out Caught by M Ganesh Moorthi!! Well, there's no doubt about this one. Srinivasan has flicked it straight to short fine leg. Full ball on leg-stump, he could have hit it anywhere he wanted but found the fielder to perfection. So he fails to add anything after his reprieve. Rajhamany Srinivasan c M Ganesh Moorthi b Athisayaraj Davidson 2(7)

Washington Sundar to Badrinath, out Stumped!! That's such a massive stroke of luck for keeper Sushil, as well as Sundar. Both of them have erred in their respective jobs, but it brings them the wicket of the opposition captain. It's a flat ball down leg which makes Badri drag his back foot out as he tries to flick it away. The keeper can't gather cleanly, but it pops out of his gloves and drops right on the stumps. Badrinath st Sushil b Washington Sundar 12(9) [6s-2]

W
Washington Sundar to Vishal Vaidhya, out Caught by V Lakshman!! Such a soft dismissal. It's a poor shot from Vishal. Flat ball from round the wicket, Vishal isn't even close to the ball but he still goes through with an off-drive and chips it straight to mid-off. What's even more disappointing was that he didn't even try to clear the fielder. Just a half-hearted attempt. Vishal Vaidhya c V Lakshman b Washington Sundar 1(5)

V Lakshman to Badrinath, SIX, short of length, Badrinath gets into position quickly and pulls it for six. Back to back sixes. This might have been a thick top-edge but it sailed with the wind

6
V Lakshman to Badrinath, SIX, fullish ball outside off, flogs it with superb wrists over mid-wicket. That's carried all the way. Great timing, great shot

Athisayaraj Davidson to Anirudha, out Caught by Sushil!! Back of length outside off, Anirudha flings his hands on a back-foot cover-drive and nicks it through. It's only the second over, but the inability to pierce the field meant that he was getting frustrated. Hang on. Did he hit it though? Tell you what, there might not have been a nick at all. Anirudha couldn't believe that he was given out. Anirudha c Sushil b Athisayaraj Davidson 1(8)
