Amelia Kerr to Perry, out Bowled!! Gone this time! Kerr was probably expecting the charge from Perry and slowed the googly down considerably. Perry couldn't get to the pitch of this for the slog and the low bounce along with turn compounded things for him. Sneaked through below the bat and a regulation stumping for Priest. Perry b Amelia Kerr 21(15) [4s-2]

Amelia Kerr to Haynes, FOUR, sloppy fielding! Pressure telling on the Kiwis here. Haynes employs the hard sweep and cracked this through the mid-wicket region. The fielder near the fence got across to her left with a slide but ended up letting the ball through

Amelia Kerr to Perry, FOUR, this is excellent death overs batting, field manipulation at its best. Perry shuffled across early on the back foot and forced Kerr to drop it short. Slightly leg stumpish and it's pulled away between short fine leg and backward square leg

6
Hayley Jensen to Haynes, SIX, this is a priceless cameo from Haynes! How vital will these runs be today? Jensen followed Haynes with a fuller ball and the southpaw just used the pace with an effortless glance. For a moment, fine leg was interested but it cleared her comfortably

4
Hayley Jensen to Haynes, FOUR, nicely struck! Slot ball from Jensen and Haynes got hold of it, hoicking it over mid-wicket with aplomb. Found the gap well

Anna Peterson to Perry, FOUR, Perry is starting to open up now. Walked down the track, took this on the full and whipped it away to the deep mid-wicket fence. Picked her spot well and executed the shot wonderfully

Anna Peterson to Mooney, out Caught by Bates!! What..a..catch! Incredible stuff from Bates at long-on. She doesn't seem too fussed though, walks away nonchalantly towards her mates as if it was a regulation take. Was a mistimed loft from Mooney who didn't get to the pitch of this at all, ended up skying this more than she would have liked. Still seemed like it had enough legs on it to clear long-on. Until Bates got across to takle a fantastic leaping catch to her right, inches near the fence. Mooney c Bates b Anna Peterson 60(50) [4s-6 6s-2]

Kasperek to Mooney, FOUR, fab shot! The front foot trigger forced Kasperek to drop this a fraction shot and Mooney was quick to rock back for the cut shot. Pierced the gap at point and it raced away. No protection near the fence on the off-side

Kasperek to Gardner, out Bowled!! Sensational stuff from Kasperek! Using all her experience to put her team back in the game. Slowed this off break down considerably and hung it back a fraction too as Gardner advanced down for a hoick. Couldn't get to the pitch and this spun with low bounce, sneaking under the bat to disturb the furniture. Would have been stumped if not bowled. Huge wicket for NZ. Gardner b Kasperek 20(20) [4s-2]

F

Devine to Mooney, FOUR, cleanly struck! This time Mooney connects after giving the charge. Made a hint of room and chipped this over mid-off. Didn't middle it entirely but still had enough to clear the infield with ease

6
Anna Peterson to Mooney, SIX, lovely, Mooney shimmies down the tarck, made room and then went inside out over cover - the timing is sublime and the ball sails over the ropes for a maximum
8.4
4
Rosemary Mair to Gardner, FOUR, nicely played, fuller length delivery and wide of off, Gardner leans into the drive, opens the face of the bat at the last moment and drives it into the gap behind square on the off-side for a boundary

Anna Peterson to Lanning, out Caught by Tahuhu!! Peterson has got one back - after conceding two boundaries, she snares the big wicket of Lanning. Misjudgement in length, was too full to be playing the sweep, Lanning got into a poor position, couldn't get on top of the bounce and the top-edge is easily held by Tahuhu, running across from short fine. Lanning c Tahuhu b Anna Peterson 21(17) [4s-4]

4

4
Anna Peterson to Lanning, FOUR, cracking shot, too short and wide of off, Lanning makes room and cuts it square past point for a boundary
5.5
4
Amelia Kerr to Lanning, FOUR, full-toss and it's been swatted away over deep square leg - Lanning bent down low and slapped it over square leg - Anna Peterson got across and put in an acrobatic dive at deep square leg, but the ball was always curving away from her
5.2
Amelia Kerr to Lanning, no run, that looked close and New Zealand have reviewed it straightaway. It's for LBW, it's a fair delivery, looks like no bat, but is the ball spinning past the off-stump - UltraEdge confirms that there's no bat. Ball tracking - impact is outside off and New Zealand lose their review. The leg-break and it was too full to sweep - Lanning went across her stumps and missed, is pinged on her back thigh
4.5
4
Devine to Mooney, FOUR, lovely, fraction too full and wide of off, Mooney leans into the drive and places it wide of mid-off - no need to run for those

4
Devine to Lanning, FOUR, beautifully played, tad too full and just outside off, Lanning leans into the drive, plays with a straight bat and finds the gap wide of cover for a boundary

Hayley Jensen to Healy, out Caught by Amelia Kerr!! A nothing shot and New Zealand needed this wicket badly - Jensen came from wide of the crease and followed Healy as she backed away, no room to play the shot and Healy tamely chipped a dolly to Kerr, at mid-wicket. Healy c Amelia Kerr b Hayley Jensen 9(9) [4s-1]
