Ajit Wadekar, one of India's most celebrated Test captains, was Indian cricket's trailblazer in more ways than one. Not only did he lead India to marquee Test series wins in England and West Indies in 1971 but his only Test hundred forged India's first ever series win away from home -- in New Zealand in 1968.
