Shami fifer powers Bengal to win

Outright results:

Urvil Patel's century went in vain as Mohammed Shami ripped through Gujarat's tail to bag a fifer and guide Bengal to a 141-run victory after Gujarat collapsed from 153 for 3 to get bowled out for 185 in the run chase. Shahbaz Ahmed, who returned nine wickets in the match and scored 22 runs was adjudged Player of the Match.

Arjun Azad's 168 went in vain as Mukesh Choudhary and Ramakrishna Ghosh bagged four wickets apiece to bundle out Chandigarh for 319 in the run chase, as Maharashtra clinched the contest by 144 runs - their second outright win in as many games this season.

Top batting performances

Aayush Pandey stroked an unbeaten 117 as Chhattisgarh managed to escape with a draw after being asked to follow on against Mumbai. The visitors made 201 for 3 before the captains decided to shake hands.

Led by handy contributions from Shashwat Dangwal (25), J Suchith (37) and Abhay Negi (49), Uttarakhand managed to take the first innings lead against Railways before getting bowled out for 398.

Ankush Bains (81*) and Pukhraj Mann (76*) stroked unbeaten half-centuries as Himachal managed to escape with a draw against Delhi, who had declared their innings on 209 for 4 earlier in the day, setting Himachal a target of 343.

Swastik Samal scored an unbeaten 71 to keep Uttar Pradesh at bay in their pursuit for an outright win against Odisha. After declaring their innings on 409 for 6, they only managed to reduce the visitors to 151 for 3 at Green Park.

Yash Rathod stroked an unbeaten 101 as Vidarbha took a comfortable first innings lead against Jharkhand in the high-scoring encounter in Nagpur. In response to Jharkhand's 332, Vidarbha piled on 492 for 5.

Top bowling performances

Tanay Thyagarajan bagged four wickets in the first innings and followed it up with two more in the second as Puducherry escaped with a draw. After being bundled out for 126 in the first innings and asked to follow on, they managed to score 97 for 5 before stumps were taken.

Ayush Goyal and Krish Bhagat bagged a brace each as Kerala narrowly missed out on the first innings lead again, getting bundled out for 371 in their first innings, in response to Punjab's 436. Resuming the day on 247 for 6, Ahammed Imran stroked a watchful 86, but it wasn't enough in the end.

Vidwath Kaverappa bagged a fifer as Goa were bowled out for 217 in the first innings, handing Karnataka the first innings lead in Shimoga. Asked to follow on, they put up a greater resistance and piled on 143 for 1 when the contest ended in a draw.

Imliwati Lemtur's 146 went in vain as Nagaland were bundled out for 446 in their first innings to hand Tamil Nadu the first innings lead in the draw. DT Chandrasekar bagged three of the five wickets to fall on the last day.
