Mayank Verma, the keeper-batter from Chattisgarh, scored a maiden first-class hundred to help his side to 377 in the first innings, helping add 176 to the overnight tally.

Shams Mulani scored 69 and added crucial lower-order runs for Mumbai, the first innings eventually coming to a close on 446. Mulani and Tushar Deshpande added 75for their ninth wicket. Deshpande then struck with the ball, picking two wickets as Himachal Pradesh finished the day on 94/7.
Al Bashid Muhammed's 126 took Manipur to 400 in their fixture against Mizoram from an overnight total of 201/3.
Vijay Shankar's 150not out powered Tripura to 602/7 against Assam in Agartala. Hanuma Vihari, on 143 overnight, could add only 13 runs to his total.
Top bowling performances
Karnataka went from an overnight total of 257/5 to 313 all out but Shreyas Gopal put on a good bowling performance with a xx-wicket haul.He broke the 98-run opening stand and then kept chipping with wickets to ensure that Maharashtra, who were once going strong thanks to Prithvi Shaw's rapid 71, don't run away with the advantage.
Sandeep Warrier's four-wicket haul helped Tamil Nadu eke out a five-run lead despite Shaik Rasheed's lone effort of 87 not out.
Siddharth Desai's five-wicket haul helped Gujarat bowl out Services for only 248. Gujarat were wett set at stumps on Day 2, behind by 77 runs with six wickets in hand.
