After India's dominating win over hosts Bangladesh last night, Sri Lanka would be looking to make a similar statement against qualifiers United Arab Emirates. Even though the Lankans lost the recent T20I series to India, they will be buoyed by the return of some senior players, especially skipper Lasith Malinga. UAE on the other hand, have been on a roll, making it to the tournament ahead of Afghanistan. Can they cause an upset?

The United Arab Emirates have won the toss and have decided to field first. Amjad Javed hopes his side can restrict them to 130. That will be massive if they can manage to do that. They go with the same lineup that took the field in their last qualifier against Oman. For Sri Lanka though, the four senior players make a return and Thisara Perera has been dropped. That's a bit surprising!
