New Zealand inched ever closer to posting yet another Test series win against Bangladesh at stumps on Day 4 of the Wellington Test. The visitors were 80 for 3, still 141 runs adrift of making New Zealand bat again. And that is still a long way away on a track where Boult, Southee and Henry are extracting seam movement with Wagner employing the short ball tactic.
The tourists would be hoping for the likes of Mithun, Liton, Mahmudullah and Sarkar to stand up under pressure and put up a spirited fight.
If we look back at Day 4, it was all about Ross Taylor shining brightly with a 212-ball 200. His innings paved the way for New Zealand to declare as early as possible and with a massive first innings lead of 221. Nicholls also made his presence felt with a well-measured hundred.
Can the tourists give a good account of themselves and make a good fist of their second essay? We will have all the action shortly.
