That's it for now. We will be back with more BBL action. For now it's bye bye.
Chris Jordan | Player of the Match: I mean, at this stage of the tournament, boys just come back together. You just want to get over the line and get two points any way you can. Obviously, we would have liked to finish it off a bit sooner, but I think the most important thing is that we did finish it off and we can take some confidence from that. Yeah, to be honest, when I came on in the first over, I was bowling to two in batters and I was trying to protect the short side, but when I came back from the second over, we assessed the wicket and thought that there was at least a little bit of a nibble in the wicket, so we thought I didn't want to go across us and take us on to the short side. We were willing to take that one on and lucky it paid off today. Yeah, honestly, the vibe tonight was excellent. Hopefully we can go through the season and get on a run like we did last year and the crowd can keep building all the way through as well.
22:47 Local Time, 11:47 GMT, 17:17 IST: The Hurricanes made it tougher for themselves but Nathan Ellis finished it off in the last over. They started well with Chaudhary and Mitch Owen going hard in the powerplay. And then when David was on fire in the Power Surge, the Hurricanes were cruising. But the Thunder stuck in there and got wickets to pull things back. It was run-a-ball in the last 3 overs but Wade's wicket put some pressure on the Hurricanes but Jordan hit a crucial four and then Ellis was calm despite a few swishes at thin air to seal the deal. Stay tuned to find out who the Player of the Match is.

Daniel Sams to Nathan Ellis, 1 run, the skipper does it. Full on the stumps, Nathan Ellis gets forward to drive straight down the ground and beats both mid-off and mid-on
The Hurricanes win.
A chat between Nathan Ellis and Jordan. If he gets it over the infield, that's enough. A chat between Daniel Sams and Green.

Daniel Sams to Nathan Ellis, no run, full just outside off, Nathan Ellis heaves and misses, another dot, Billings prevents the bye
19.3
Daniel Sams to Nathan Ellis, no run, low full-toss on off, Nathan Ellis gets forward to drive and mistimes it to short cover, the field is in. Everyone in the ring
19.2
Daniel Sams to Nathan Ellis, no run, good short delivery, at Nathan Ellis who tries to pull, misses, flies over the bat, called a fair delivery, Ellis thinks it's over the shoulder, checks with the ump as the crowd boo. They are checking this. As soon as Ellis mised it, he looked at the square-leg umpire asking for the no-ball, the Thunder meanwhile have reviewed for a caught behind, nothing on UltraEdge and it's not out. It's over the head and should have been called. The third ump just adjudicates on the caught behind call, confusion here but they move on
Green adjusting the field. It has to come in.

Daniel Sams to Nathan Ellis, 2 runs, full on the stumps, Nathan Ellis gets forward to heave it and it's wide of deep mid-wicket, two taken and the scores are level
Now a free-hit coming up for Nathan Ellis.

Daniel Sams to Nathan Ellis, no ball, that's horrid from Daniel Sams. Maybe the dew. He has a wry smile on his face. The ball slips out and it's way over the head of Nathan Ellis, straight to Billings without bouncing. A no-ball for height
Daniel Sams [3.0-0-31-1] is back into the attack
4 off the last over. Sams it will be. Green having a chat.

McAndrew to Jordan, 1 run, a fumble from Sams at deep mid-wicket but they take only one. Nathan Ellis slipped after the 1st run, that's why. An off-pace length delivery outside off, Jordan goes on the back foot and pulls to Sams, easy two but Ellis slipped and fell

McAndrew to Jordan, FOUR, crucial boundary. A good length delivery outside off, Jordan goes on the back foot and punches it between both mid-off and cover, beats the dive of both the fielders, runs away
