PLAYER OF THE MATCH
Whoa! That was a thrilling game, wasn't it? We hope you had great fun following all the thrills and spills. Until next time, cheers and goodbye!!
Xavier Bartlett | Player of the Match: Oh, very tense, but the young captain, in those moments, had a lot of senior heads around him and they sort of calmed me down. I thought Thomas Balkin on debut was unbelievable, he bowled some big overs and to close it out there was an unbelievable win. I thought it was about trying to get my over out of the way and backing the boys at the end, especially Boggs (Balkin) who bowled really well, particularly from the short end with his pace, and I think he’s going to be a really good bowler going forward. The captaincy side of things has been amazing; it’s very different being a bowling captain but it’s something I’m really enjoying and hopefully I continue to grow in the role. The plan was to try and take early wickets because they have a very good top order, especially in the top three or four, so we were looking for early inroads and although we didn’t get those initially, it was great that it went our way tonight. Credit to the way the boys bowled, and I thought Kuhney (Kuhnemann) bowled especially well too, so it was awesome to be able to win.
21:49 local, 11:49 GMT, 17:19 IST: The game swung like a pendulum and in the end, the Heat held their nerve and closed it out. They were in all sorts of trouble in the first innings at 98/5, but Max Bryant's 32-ball 63 helped them record a competitive score on the board. With the ball, they failed to pick a wicket in the first 7 overs but picked up 3 in the space of next 11 balls to force their way back into the game. Just when things started to tilt towards the home team, the Strikers took toll of some poor bowling and power surge to smack 60 off 4 overs (11-15). They needed 36 off the last 5 overs with 5 wickets in hand. A couple of tight overs followed, and, panic set in eventually as the Heat removed the last 5 wickets for 16 runs. Classic case of nerves getting the better of the Strikers today...

Thomas Balkin to Harry Nielsen, out Caught by Jack Wildermuth!! That is the game for the Heat. They win this nail-biter by 7 runs. The short ball gets big on Harry Nielsen and the top-edge travels to fine leg where Wildermuth keeps his cool to claim the catch inches above the turf. Thomas Balkin to Harry Nielsen, THATS OUT!! Caught!!

Jack Wildermuth to Harry Nielsen, FOUR, Jack Wildermuth goes short once again, Nielsen fetches it with a full-blooded slap drive and gets it over the fielder at extra cover! A much-needed boundary that for the Strikers...
18.5
Jack Wildermuth to Harry Nielsen, 2 runs, short and well wide of off, Nielsen gets up on his toes and smashes it to the right of sweeper cover
18.4
Jack Wildermuth to Hasan Ali, 1 run, short on middle and leg, Hasan Ali pulls and gets a top-edge on it. The fielder from deep square charges in and puts in a full length dive. Did that land on his fingers? One frame suggests the fingers were underneath the ball while the other frame isn't quite convincing enough. The soft signal was out, but the telly umpire did not have enough evidence to confirm the onfield verdict...
The Heat are claiming a catch, but it looks to have made contact with the ground. Not out says the telly umpire...
Hasan Ali, right handed bat, comes to the crease
