PLAYER OF THE MATCH
That's it for this one. We will be back with more soon. For now bye bye.
Nathan Ellis | Player of the Match: I don't feel like I deserve it having seen what we just did with the old boy getting us home there, but I'll take it and I'll have to buy him a burger or some chicken or something. When we got the schedule, we knew that was going to be a tough trip. And I mean, now, if you look at what's just gone on, we made the decision to leave Wadey at home and he's paid dividends for us here. Unfortunately, we lost him in Perth. So we come in tonight sort of not knowing what our best line-up might be. Who should bat five. Nicky Chaudhary, unfortunately, was the one who has to keep sliding up and down the pole. But that's sort of been the mantra of our team over the last couple of seasons. It feels like blokes just put their bumper in on the game when they're required, whether it's whatever role that might be. So really, another really proud win. (on Chaudhary's injury) Yeah, it was, actually. I didn't really hear anything until he came off. But, yeah, he was ready to go and always wanting to bat that man. (on the bowling) Yeah, I'm really proud of our spinners, mate. I played against Rishad once in the World Cup before coming over here, and I haven't played with him or against him on the outside of that, the same with Rehan. So you look at the numbers and you look at some footage, but having not seen them you sort of don't really know what to expect, but they've been unreal and are so reliable. So you pair that with Riley and Chris Jordan. We've got Billy Stanlake in the ranks as well and so many options. I don't think we've had our best performance yet, but that's sort of, again, that's sort of been the nature of our bowling side over the last couple of years is whoever - it's their night, we sort of rely on them and everyone can sort of fill any gap that's required. (what's next?) We've got the Scorchers here in a couple of days, so a well-earned rest tomorrow. I think we might go to the Taste of Tassie and have some food and some drink and watch the last few boats come in, and it should be a good day. But yeah, Scorchers in a few days.
22:38 Local Time, 11:38 GMT, 17:08 IST: Nine in a row for the Hurricanes here at the Ninja Stadium. Matthew Wade missed the last game but is the hero in this one. His 20-ball 43 took them over the line with an over to spare. The chase got tight as the Renegades kept themselves in it as Zampa took a three-fer. Contributions from Ward, Webster and a nice cameo from Rehan Ahmed allied to Wade's powerful knock was enough for the Hurricanes. Hat-trick of wins for the Hurricanes who are 2nd on the table. Stay tuned to find who the player of the match is....

Gurinder Sandhu to Matthew Wade, FOUR, and that's that. Matthew Wade ends this. Full outside off, he gets forward and drives it past mid-off to his left, it has the legs to beat the chasing Tye
18.5
6
Gurinder Sandhu to Matthew Wade, SIX, that should be the game. It's a slower short delivery on the stumps, Matthew Wade nails the pull as he gets forward and it clears the deep backward square-leg fence, slightly top-edgish
18.4
Gurinder Sandhu to Chris Jordan, 1 run, slower-ball and full just outside off, Chris Jordan gets forward to drive to long-on
Both third man and fine-leg in.
18.3
Gurinder Sandhu to Matthew Wade, 1 run, full outside off, drilled straight to the fielder at extra-cover who is on the edge of the ring, they take one
18.2
Gurinder Sandhu to Matthew Wade, no run, short of length outside off, Matthew Wade goes on the back foot to pull, the thick inside-edge hits the right pad and rolls back to Gurinder Sandhu
18.1
6
Gurinder Sandhu to Matthew Wade, SIX, open-face and carved all the way over sweeper cover. Full and angling away from the left-hander outside off, Matthew Wade gets forward and lofts, all the way and the ball flies
Gurinder Sandhu [3.0-0-32-1] is back into the attack

Tye to Matthew Wade, 1 run, low full-toss on middle, Matthew Wade gets forward to drive straight to the fielder at deep extra-cover
17.5
6
Tye to Matthew Wade, SIX, crucial blow. A short of length delivery outside off, Matthew Wade gets forward and pulls, again great timing and all the way over deep mid-wicket
17.4
Tye to Matthew Wade, no run, short of length and angling away from the left-hander, Matthew Wade gives the charge and slashes, misses. The Renegades have reviewed this, checking for UltraEdge, a flat line and they lose it, Rizwan again the man to blame as he got unnecessarily excited
17.3
Tye to Chris Jordan, 1 run, short of length and seam-up on off, Chris Jordan goes on the back foot and pulls one bounce to deep mid-wicket
17.2
Tye to Matthew Wade, 1 run, slower-ball and it was the knuckle-ball I think, bounces extra, Matthew Wade adjusts well to lean back and dab it to deep backward point, was surprised there
17.1
Tye to Chris Jordan, 1 run, slower-ball and angling back in, Chris Jordan goes on the back foot to nudge, gets something on to the thigh, rolls in front of backward point for one
Andrew Tye [3.0-0-19-1] is back into the attack
