W
Nathan Ellis to Zampa, out Caught by (sub)Wright!! A wicket to end the innings - Hurricanes need 163 to win - slower short ball that kept coming back into the right-hander, cramped Zampa for room on the cut and he tamely chips it down cover's throat. Zampa c (sub)Wright b Nathan Ellis 3(6)
19.3
4
Nathan Ellis to Gurinder Sandhu, FOUR, slapped, useful runs for the Gades - was the slower short ball, but it sat up for Sandhu to flat-bat it past mid-off, runs away to the ropes
18
Riley Meredith to Gurinder Sandhu, 1 run, fuller length delivery on off, Sandhu backs away and pushes it to mid-off for a run
17.3
W
Riley Meredith to Tye, out Caught&Bowled!! That's gone straight up, Meredith settles under it on the catch and holds onto it reverse cupped - 'looked like the slower ball, dipped into the right-hander and Tye didn't get anywhere near the middle of the bat on the swing - popped up low and went a mile up in the air, Meredith has plenty of time to settle under and takes it with his fingers pointing up. Tye c and b Riley Meredith 6(7)
16.2
W
Nathan Ellis to Sutherland, out Caught by (sub)Wright!! The surge is going from bad to worse for the Gades - Was a full and wide ball from Ellis - Sutherland went hard on the drive and carved it high over cover, the fielder in the deep comes in, settles under and holds onto a fine catch. The Gades lose their last recognised batter. Sutherland c (sub)Wright b Nathan Ellis 17(20) [4s-2]
15.2
W
Chris Jordan to Oliver Peake, out Caught by Webster!! Straight to cover - Peake falls attempting to maximise the surge and the partnership has been broken - On a good length and just outside off, Peake backed away on the drive, but he can't get the elevation needed on the shot, came low off the bat and scooped it straight into the hands of Webster at cover. Oliver Peake c Webster b Chris Jordan 29(22) [4s-2 6s-1]

10.3
W
Chris Jordan to Hassan Khan, out Hassan Khan Run Out!! Calamity for the Gades - Hassan was distracted by the LBW appeal and ran blindly, but the ball had gone straight to the fielder at backward point - he has time on his hands and makes a direct hit at the striker's end - Rehan with the throw and Hassan Khan finds himself stranded in the middle of nowhere. Was full and swung back into the right-hander, Hassan Khan shuffled across on the flick and missed, struck in front of leg and would've been heading down, but the appeal made Hassan lose his head completely as he wandered down for a single. Hassan Khan run out (Rehan Ahmed) 4(7)
10
Rehan Ahmed to Oliver Peake, 2 runs, dropped short by Rehan - Peake rocks back and pulls it in front of square on the on-side, comes back for the second run
8.5
W
Rishad Hossain to Fraser-McGurk, out Caught by Riley Meredith!! They keep losing wickets, but Fraser-McGurk will be annoyed with his dismissal - was a half-tracker, but it's Rishad's bounce which led to the undoing of Fraser-McGurk - was shaping for the paddle sweep, hit high on the bat and lobs a sitter to Meredith at short fine. Fraser-McGurk c Riley Meredith b Rishad Hossain 14(8) [4s-1 6s-1]
8.4
6
Rishad Hossain to Fraser-McGurk, SIX, a big slog-sweep and Fraser-McGurk has got enough to clear the fielder at deep mid-wicket - Tim Ward was the man and he fell back as he attempted to push it back into play, but the ball drops over him and onto the ropes
8.1
6
Rishad Hossain to Oliver Peake, SIX, clubbed and Nilkhil Chaudhary has palmed it over the ropes - he's down and holding his right shoulder, landed badly and he's in a lot of pain - the Canes have already lost Tim David, they can't afford another injury to a top batter - Nikhil is still on the floor and this doesn't look good at all. The physios are working on him, but this does look like a dislocated shoulder. Coming to the ball, was floated outside off and Peake whipped it with a lot of bottom-handed power - Chaudhary ran to his left from long-on and then tried to go with both hands on the overhead catch - but the ball hit the edge of his fingers and landed over the ropes. As he fell across on the ropes, he tried to balance himself with his left shoulder and fell heavily on it. He manages to get up, but he's walking away - the Canes will hope it's not serious and he'll be able to bat later
7.5
Rehan Ahmed to Fraser-McGurk, no run, appeal for LBW, but Fraser-McGurk was a long way across on the sweep, might've been struck outside the line, Canes though have reviewed - was the wrong 'un and the right-hander was struck on the back-knee. No bat and we're onto ball-tracking: The impact is outside the line of off-stump and they've lost a review
7.3
4
Rehan Ahmed to Fraser-McGurk, FOUR, nicely played, dropped short from Rehan - Fraser-McGurk makes room, uses the depth of the crease and then gets enough on the cut to beat backward point to his left
6.4
W
Rishad Hossain to Rizwan, out Caught by Rehan Ahmed!! Oh dear! That's so poor from the experienced campaigner and Rizwan has thrown his wicket away. Was a pre-meditated reverse sweep and Rishad saw it coming, dragged the length back and got some extra bounce, Rizwan was in no control over the shot and popped a simple catch to backward point - Rehan the fielder and he goes reverse cupped to hold on. Rizwan c Rehan Ahmed b Rishad Hossain 16(12) [4s-3]

5.5
W
Mitchell Owen to Seifert, out Caught by Matthew Wade!! Edged and caught! Seifert was playing too many shots and he falls in the process - Owen cleverly slipped one full and wide of off, Seifert was staying leg-side and then had to reach out on the drive, went so hard that he lost his poise and the thin edge flew into the hands of the keeper. Seifert c Matthew Wade b Mitchell Owen 26(14) [4s-2 6s-2]
5.4

4.1
Rishad Hossain to Seifert, 3 runs, tag team effort and they do well to prevent the ball from hitting the ropes - loopy delivery outside off and Rizwan reached out on the drive, placed it wide of cover, the fielder in the deep sprints across, dives and pulls it back into play, was going back onto the ropes, but the man from long-on dived to drag it back, they save a run for the team
3.5
4
Riley Meredith to Rizwan, FOUR, nicely played, the slower short ball from Meredith - Rizwan spots it early, swivels across and then plays a controlled pull, behind square on the on-side for a boundary

W
Nathan Ellis to Josh Brown, out Caught by Rishad Hossain!! An excellent catch from Rishad and the opening stand has been broken - the slower ball finally does so the tricl for Ellis, was the cutter that nipped away from off - Brown swung blindly, gets a thick top-edge and the ball lobs over short third's head - Rishad ran back, kept his eyes on the ball and completed the catch even as it dropped in front of his shoulder. Josh Brown c Rishad Hossain b Nathan Ellis 26(13) [4s-3 6s-2]
2.4
4
Nathan Ellis to Josh Brown, FOUR, cracking shot, the slower ones aren't working, not with this new ball - on a length and just outside off, Brown caresses the punch square past point and the ball races away to the ropes
2.3
6
Nathan Ellis to Josh Brown, no ball, SIX, beautifully played, the slower ball from Ellis, but it's on the pads and it's nonchalantly whipped over deep backward square leg - short square boundaries here and the ball sails into the grassbanks. To make matters worse, Ellis has bowled a front-foot no-ball, so a free-hit coming up
1.5

Chris Jordan to Josh Brown, SIX, lovely, on a good length and just outside off - Brown leans forward, swings through the line and the connection is so sweet that the ball sails over the ropes at long-off
