Sunrisers Eastern Cape have won the toss and have opted to bat
4:35 pm local: The Sunrisers are sitting pretty after having become the first team to qualify for the playoffs. However, the job isn't done completely and a win today will ensure that they'll finish amongst the top-2, irrespective of results elsewhere. That'll not only give them two chances in the playoffs, but it'll also ensure the elimination of MI Cape Town. The hosts of today have blown hot and cold this season and need to win both their last two matches to keep themselves in the hunt. It'll not be easy considering that the Sunrisers have been the team to beat and have won as many as 4 of their 5 games with bonus points. Winning against them once is tough, but Cape Town have to somehow find the quality in themselves to beat the high flies in back-to-back games. Can MICT do the unthinkable? Or will the Sunrisers coast to a top-2 finish? Toss and team sheets coming up shortly..
