No presentations so far. Rain would've taken it indoors and we might not have access. So that's all from this first T20I. Do join us on Sunday for the second match. Until then, it's goodbye!
No real concerns in the run-chase for England. Salt and Buttler got them off to a flier and despite a brilliant spell from Pathirana, the target wasn't very challenging. To make matters worse for the hosts, they dropped a couple of catches too. But what hurt them the most today was the batting collapse as they went from 76/1 to 133 all out. Adil Rashid the star for England, putting on a show with his flight and speed variations. Carried on from where he had left in the ODIs. His spell of 3/19 sparked the turnaround and restricted Sri Lanka to a below-par total. Stay tuned, we'll have the presentations shortly...
23:28 Local Time, 17:58 GMT, 23:28 IST: Rain coming down and players leave the field. England well ahead on DLS. They seem to be covering the full ground. That should be the game, and yes, we have confirmation. England win the first T20I and go 1-0 up in the series.
