PLAYER OF THE MATCH
It will be MI Emirates against Abu Dhabi Knight Riders in the second Qualifier tomorrow. Promises to be a cracker. Hope you enjoyed our coverage of this game. Goodbye and goodnight!
Narine | Player of the Match: Trying to bowl a little more attacking. If you don't get wickets it's tough through the middle overs. Latter half especially in Dubai is spinning a bit. Have more options as a spinner, can go a little bit closer. When you win cricket games, it helps. It means a lot. Haven't reached a semifinal in three years. It's something we've been trying to do. Emotional because we've played good cricket in the past but haven't won.
Holder | Knight Riders captain: Really really happy. Boys played some good cricket. Lost wickets in the middle which didn't help the cause but we still mustered a competitive total on that wicket. Have to back your calls, some days you get it right and some days you don't. It's been a quiet time with the bat, haven't had a huge deal to do. Happy with the way the ball has been coming out. Looking forward to it (the game tomorrow). It's always a big game between the two franchises, a derby.
Nabi | Capitals captain: We pulled it back with the ball, at one stage it looked like 200 was on the cards, did well with the ball. As a batting group we didn't do well. Wasn't that much spin. They bowled really well on the spots. Plan was to rotate strike and not to give early wickets. DIdn't work out. Enjoyed the tournament as an allrounder and a captain.
22:00 Local Time, 18:00 GMT, 23:30 IST: Knight Riders are through to Qualifier 2 after a comprehensive win. Despite their collapse with the bat earlier, the 158 that they managed proved to be more than enough on a challenging pitch for strokeplay. The 122-run opening stand between Salt and Pepper made all the difference for them, and then the bowlers took charge led by Narine who sliced through the Capitals with his 3/12. Holder and Livingstone took 3 each as well. Capitals lost regular wickets right from the start with their highest partnership being just 24.

Holder to Jawadullah, out Caught by Michael Pepper!! Game over for the Capitals! End of the road for them in this tournament. It's the Knight Riders who will go through to Qualifier 2, and it's the first time in ILT20 that they've made it past the Eliminator. Full delivery around off, Jawadullah looks to drive but his feet go nowhere. Nicks it through to the keeper. Jawadullah c Michael Pepper b Holder 0(1)
