PLAYER OF THE MATCH
The series is level 1-1 and we have a decider on the 8th of this month. Do join us then. For now that's it. Sleep tight and be well. Bye bye for now.
Matthew Breetzke: Yeah, clinical. All-round. I think it started with Nandre Burger up front there, he was really special today. And then, with the bat, Quinny and Lhu up front and then Tony coming off there, playing a really good innings, it was nice to watch. (On Ferreira's catch to dismiss Babar Azam and South Africa's fielding) Exceptional. We take pride in our fielding as South Africans. We know that fielding changes the game. And we save quite a lot of runs out there. So, I'm very happy with the boys. Nandre is one of those guys, when he's on, he's not really nice to face. So, he's a special bowler. So, I hope he can come in the third game and do the exact same. (On the final ODI) That's going to come down to playing the conditions in that third game. We're not sure what we're going to get. Hopefully, we're going to win a toss. Hopefully, we can come out on top.
Shaheen Afridi: It's a little bit tough, but I think Saim and Agha did very well and their partnership helped us a little bit. Three wickets early and then 270, I think that was a good score. Unfortunately, the drop catches cost us. If you win always, then you can't see what's going on around you. But I think we will come back strongly. We will come back strongly.
Quinton de Kock | Player of the Match: We played really nicely today. Nandre and Corbin set the tone early for us, we kept the pressure on them. I set myself really high standards. I always look at myself in the mirror if I drop my standards or not. I just hope it keeps working for me. Nice to be back here with the team, the extra responsibility is nice. I haven't batted with a lot of these guys before so new faces is nice, making new friends, so it's great to be back. They (Pretorius and de Zorzi) are batting really well at the moment. Young Lhu (Lhuan-dre Pretorius) is making it pretty easy up front there. He's just taking all the strikes and I'm giving it to him because he's just dominating. The guys batted really well. The last two games we batted quite nicely. Obviously, tonight was really good. Nice and clinical also.

22:21 Local Time, 17:21 GMT, 22:51 IST: Such an easy chase as Rizwan and the others congratulate de Kock. Still no smiles from the keeper-batter. He was dropped early on and he made Pakistan pay. The dew helped the batters and de Kock eased to his 22nd ODI ton. So much time to play his shots and some of them he brutalised. Lhuan-dre Pretorius and him added 81 for the first wicket and after that Tony de Zorzi joined de Kock and the duo took the game away from Pakistan with brilliant strokeplay. Pakistan did not help themselves with their fielding as they dropped de Zorzi too but the number three batter after a slow start played some fine shots en route his 76. The 100 was there for the taking but he fell. The formalities were then completed by Breetzke and de Kock. The wicket eased out and it was a good toss to lose for South Africa. Stay tuned for the post-match stuff...
