Rovman Powell: It was obviously a very good wicket. Credit has to be given to Hetmyer. When I was starting, he kind of eased the pressure off me with those good hits, which allowed me to get myself in. Once I got set, it was a good wicket to hit a few sixes. I had the best seat in the house. The plan was simple - he (Hetmyer) was going at it, so I just tried to give him the strike. And then when I started going, he gave me the strike after he got a little bit tired. That’s how partnerships operate. Definitely an advantage. We as Caribbean boys, we like Mumbai - we like Wankhede, so it’s definitely a place where we have confidence. It’s a place where we play good cricket. Coming back here to play against Zimbabwe, we knew that if we put pressure on them, they would feel it.

15:28 GMT, 20:58 IST: West Indies post 254 on the board - highest total in this World Cup and the second highest in T20 World Cups. They lost King cheaply in the 3rd over and in walked Hetmyer who got off the mark with an authoritative boundary. He was dropped on 9 by Musekiwa off Muzarabani's bowling and that proved to be very costly for Zimbabwe. The left-handed Guyanese hit a flurry of fours against the pacers but switched to hitting sixes against the spinners to record a 19-ball fifty - fastest by a WI batter in T20 World Cups. Powell got off to a slow start but he was quick to turn the tables as he notched up a 29-ball half-century. The pair forged a 122-run stand for the third wicket and that was followed by cameos from Rutherford, Shepherd and Holder. The Windies struck 19 sixes at the Wankhede.
