PLAYER OF THE SERIES
That’s a wrap from this tour. Zimbabwe outplayed Afghanistan in the one-off Test, registering their biggest win in the format, but the visitors bounced back strongly to assert their dominance in the T20Is, completing a clean sweep in the three-match series. That’s all we have for you from this contest. You can now switch tabs and follow all the action from the Women’s World Cup final. Until next time, it’s goodbye and stay safe!
Ibrahim Zadran | Player of the Series: I was upset with the Test performance. We lost the game and thought about coming back stronger in the T20 series, took the responsibility and happy to score three fifties. I have changed a little tehnically and mentally. I used the crease and didn't try to bat from one area. We played as a team. Rashid bowled well in the last game, Mujeeb bowled well today and Gurbaz got that big score. All the guys played and bowled really well. It (losing the Test) happens in cricket, when you lose, no need to think a lot, but you just need to focus on yourself. Have trust in yourself, back each other, back your skills. If you focus on these things, back each other, back your skills, this is what you want to be as a team.
Gurbaz | Player of the Match: The wicket was good. Myself and Ibrahim were discussing of batting deep, that's why we put the total on the board and made it easier on the others. This is not the first time we have had such a big partnership, it is a nice feeling batting together, the communication is really good and understanding each other. I was not getting a big score for the last few months, I have been batting well but today was my day.
Sikandar Raza: This is not who we are as a batting side, this is not how we attack. We demand a lot more from each other because we deserve better, the country deserves better, and we can do better. It's not like we're asking something that we haven't done before. So when we demanded that in the last game as well, I'm really happy how the boys have responded to that. Burly needed that. Burly has batted really well throughout, I think he was hurt a lot more than anyone else because he's put such high standards for himself that he was hurt, you need that pain, you need that within yourself and Burly, the way he came out and executed those skills, and the skills that he's famous for, I'm really happy for him. He needed it, the country needed it, the team needed that. Certainly in Pakistan, we're going to have to learn to adapt slightly because of the wickets and the challenges that have will be thrown at us. Watching the Tri series and watching the series  against South Africa, the dew is starting to come in and the wickets are starting to change a little bit as well. We have to prepare better with the ball and the bat as well. But one thing we should be very assured of is that it's going to be a very high-paced, high octane game in front of us. And we should be prepared and geared for that as well, so that nothing should surprise us in that series.
17:02 Local Time, 15:02 GMT, 20:32 IST: In the end, it turned out to be a comfortable victory for Afghanistan but it was far from straightforward. They struck early with a couple of wickets, yet Raza and Bennett revived Zimbabwe’s hopes with a vital partnership for the third wicket. The duo not only steadied the innings but also kept the scoreboard ticking at a healthy rate. Raza brought up his fifty before falling soon after, while Bennett agonizingly missed his by just three runs. Ryan Burl and Musekiwa played entertaining cameos late in the innings, but the target proved beyond reach. Zimbabwe needed a record chase at Harare to avoid a whitewash, and they simply didn’t have enough in the tank. Earlier, it was the explosive opening stand between Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran that laid the platform for Afghanistan’s massive total, further boosted by a quick cameo from Sediqullah Atal. Hang around for the presentations..

Abdullah Ahmadzai to Tinotenda Maposa, out Bowled!! Cleaned up! That's a pinpoint yorker. No chance for Maposa to keep it out. Full, straight and aimed for the base of the stumps, Maposa is beaten for pace and the ball sneaks under his bat to uproot the leg-stump. Top bowling from Ahmadzai! Afghanistan are almost there.. Fazalhaq Farooqi to Tashinga Musekiwa, out Caught by Shahidullah!! Is that game? Afghanistan will certainly hope so. Zimbabwe's final hope - Musekiwa - walks back dejected. It was the slower delivery from Farooqi, bowled into the wicket and Musekiwa is deceived for pace, the bottom hand comes off the bat handle and the heave is miscued to deep mid-wicket, Shahidullah settles under and takes it calmly.
