Interestingly, the pattern across the first two matches has been almost identical: Harmanpreet won the toss and put Sri Lanka in to bat, the bowlers kept them to a below-par total and one of India’s top three produced a match-winning half-century to finish the chase comfortably. Today brings a change in venue, and Chamari Athapaththu will be hoping it also brings a change in fortunes for Sri Lanka. But they’ll need more than luck. To truly challenge this Indian side, they’ll have to lift their game significantly - batting, bowling, and fielding all need to come together. India, meanwhile, were without Deepti Sharma in the previous match, but Sneh Rana stepped in and delivered impressively. So what will they do with their XI today?
