That's it for this one. We will be back with more action soon. Do join us then. For now it's bye bye.
Tom Curran | Player of the Match: I was happy with those. Look, it's always an important over, really. That's the new ball, trying to set the tone. Haven't done too much of it in my white ball career. Tend to bowl when it's harder. So trying to take the opportunity when there's a bit of swing on offer. And luckily tonight I did that. I feel like we've got a lot of bases covered. You know, Stoin I think only bowled only two overs tonight. But, you know, quality of Haris Rauf at the end there. Peter Siddle bowling unbelievably. And Swepson and the spinners doing their thing in the middle, so yeah. (on Siddle) I couldn't have enough good words to say about Peter Siddle. He's, you know, as an example for any young cricketer, doesn't get any better. He looks after himself. He's an ultimate professional. And I guess, you know, that's just speaking for the work he does behind the scenes. A great man. An unbelievable performer. So hopefully he can continue being the massive weapon that he is for us tonight. (on winning their first two this year compared to last year) Definitely feels a lot better. I think we had a bit easier preparation as well this year, which was nice. So last year we sort of landed, flew to Perth and played two days later after that, before we know it, we had five games gone. So to have sort of three games of preparation once the tournament has started and other people had games. Yeah, get a win, obviously that helps. And then to come and back it up here is a nice start to our road trip for the next couple of weeks.
22:04 Local Time, 11:34 GMT, 17:04 IST: The Stars win this with balls to spare. The openers set them on their way and despite losing 4 wickets, they won with plenty of room left. Harper struck the ball cleanly and provided a good platform, and contributions from Joe Clarke, Kellaway and Stoinis made sure the result was never in doubt. The Strikers on a good batting wicket didn't have enough on the board. The Stars atre top of the table after successive wins. Stay tuned to find out who the Player of the Match is....
