PLAYER OF THE MATCH
A thriller in Bulwayo and India make it 2 out of 2 games. With 3 teams qualifying from each group, they're all but through to the next phase of the tournament. More importantly, with Bangladesh expected to qualify as well, they'll carry two points to the Super Six after today's win. Three matches coming up tomorrow and follow our site for all the scores. For now, cheers and bye..
Ayush Mhatre: The way Kundu and Vaibhav batted was brilliant. It was a difficult wicket to bat on, but the way they batted was brilliant, even Kanishk at the end. The wicket was a little bit sticky. (what changed after the rain break) There was a simple discussion in the dressing room that the break was on our side, the Bangladesh batters had the momentum, we believed in ourselves that we can defend this total, the wicket was a little bit difficult to bat on and boys believed we could defend. (why did he go with Vihaan?) Because batters don't expect part-timers to come into this situation and it is very difficult to play part-timers in this situation, he bowls very good yorkers and I am pretty confident in his skill. (why has everyone signed his cap?) It is for my motivation, in any situation I can handle my team and I can take initiative for my team.
Azizul Hakim Tamim: Obviously it is disappointing for us. We missed a stumping and some catches were missed. Then DLS comes into play and we fell short. It is about learning for us, win or loss doesn't matter, the learning matters. I am proud of his (Al Fahad) effort, he showed his character and skill. (where was the match lost) When I took the shot. It was such a nice game for me and it is a learning for me. DLS score.. It is the beauty of cricket, it was my responsibility and I gave my best, unfortunately I could not finish the game. Playing against India is a high intensity game and we will take the learnings from this.
Vihaan Malhotra | Player of the Match: It was a nerve wrecking match, at the end we are on the winning side, which is good for us. (what was said during the rain break) The discussion was positive, that we can do it from any situation, we were ready to play the match and were waiting for the umpires' update. (what was he thinking when he came onto bowl) They needed boundaries in the end and I backed my strength of bowling yorkers. I back my skill - I can bowl yorkers and I can defend this score, just believe in God. Playing a game like this.. We chose cricket to be in games like this and being in one is a great opportunity.
18:29 Local Time, 16:29 GMT, 21:59 IST: How do you describe this match? Bangladesh were coasting along when the heavens opened up after 17.2 overs. They were still ahead on DLS, but we needed 20 overs to constitute a match. When the match resumed, the equation was down to 75 off 70 balls - with 8 wickets in hand, you'd back the batting team. Bangladesh first ensured that they didn't lose another wicket inside the 20 overs - they did achieve that, but that did cost them a couple of quiet overs. It led to unnecessary panic and India sensed the moment. Ayush Mhatre backed his part-time off-spinner Vihaan Malhotra and that call was backed up superbly by the bowler. He not only kept things quiet, but chipped away with wickets. At the other end, Khilan Patel got away with a few loose stuff and the pair strangled the Bangladeshis. 106 for 2 became 146 all-out in no time as batter after batter came in, panicked and threw their wicket away. Azizul Hakim made a fine fifty, but he was one of the batters to fall in that collapse. Rizan Hossain did threaten to switch the game with a 9-ball 15, but India held their nerve and completed a facile victory.

Henil Patel to Iqbal Hossain Emon, out Caught by Vihaan Malhotra!! It's that man in the deep - Vihaan Malhotra - and India have beaten Bangladesh. Fair to say, they've pulled off a houdini act here in Bulawayo - was the slower ball outside off, Hossain got down onto his knee and then swiped it wide of long-on, it looked like it was sailing over his head, but Vihaan sprinted across to his right, arched back and completes a sensational two-handed grab. Landed well in front of the ropes and then the celebrations begin. Iqbal Hossain Emon c Vihaan Malhotra b Henil Patel 2(6)

Vihaan Malhotra to Md Rizan Hossan, out Caught by Henil Patel!! That should be the game for India - this is some spell from Vihaan Malhotra and he has his arms up in joy - was pushed through quicker and wider of off, Rizan had to go for his shots, threw his bat and carved a thick edge over cover - Henil ran in from the deep, steadied himself and completed a fine catch. Vihaan Malhotra to Al Fahad, out Al Fahad Run Out!! A run-out appeal, a better throw would've had Al Fahad short, he could still be struggling - this is touch and go, replays in and he's short by a frame - OUT is the call - was tossed up outside off and he sliced a thick edge on the drive, went straight to short third and he was looking for a single, sent back by his partner, the throw from Vedant is wide, but it's still good enough for India. Al Fahad run out (Vedant Trivedi/Abhigyan Kundu) 0(2)
