Records fell by the wayside and were replaced by new ones as England's batsmen ran amok at Trent Bridge, Nottingham in the third one-dayer against Australia. Asked to bat first, the hosts racked up the highest ODI total in men's cricket with a jaw-dropping 481/6 with each Jonny Bairstow and Alex Hales slamming hundreds. Along the way, Eoin Morgan scored the fastest ODI fifty by an England batsman while also becoming the country's leading run-getter in the 50-over format.

Naturally, Twitter erupted to laud the English. Australia's banter bashing wasn't too far either...
