England were dealt with another injury blow as Ben Stokes limped off the field in the morning session on Day 4 of the Sydney Test.
While bowling his 28th over, the 127th of Australia's first innings, Stokes clutched his groin after bowling the fourth ball of the over. With England trailing Australia in the first innings and already 3-1 down in the series, England will be sweating on their captain's fitness as they try and save the Test match if not attempt to emerge victorious. It has been confirmed that despite his injury, he is expected to bat in the second innings for England.
England's tour Down Under has been hampered with injuries. Mark Wood and Jofra Archer were ruled out of the Ashes after the Brisbane and Adelaide Tests respectively while Gus Atkinson suffered a hamstring injury in Melbourne keeping him out of the Sydney Test.
