PLAYER OF THE MATCH
That's it for tonight. See you tomorrow. Another double-header, of course. Cheers!
Sreenath Aravind: Very happy with the performance. It's a booster that we have Manish Pandey in our side and the youngsters will learn from him. The ball was slipping off the hand and it took some time for us to adjust to our lines.
Suneel Raju: It was a very tough target and in the middle overs we lost a few wickets. We needed someone to hold the innings and that is why Shreyas Gopal has been sent up the order.
Stuart Binny, Man of the Match: Consistency is more important in this tournament. With some young guys around, I needed to take more responsibility. It was a good wicket to bat on. We are gonna keep improving every game and most importantly we want to keep winning.
The chase never got going. After a 59-run stand - between KC Avinash and Shreyas Gopal - for the second wicket, Mysuru Warriors lost momentum with wickets falling at regular intervals and they eventually fell short by 30 runs
